Getting Started

We Playtest Games is a marketplace platform connecting indie game developers with playtesters. Developers get structured, high-quality gameplay feedback. Playtesters earn money doing what they love.

How It Works

  1. Game owners register, add their game, and order playtests
  2. Playtesters browse available playtests matched to their preferred genres and platforms
  3. A playtester claims a slot and has 24 hours to complete a 1-hour recorded gameplay session with audio commentary
  4. The game owner reviews the submission — accepting or rejecting it
  5. Accepted playtests earn the playtester $10, paid out in crypto (USDC, ETH, SOL, or BTC) or via PayPal

Free Public Playtests

Want quick, surface-level impressions and free marketing exposure? Public playtests are:

  • Free for game owners
  • 30 minutes of gameplay
  • Streamed and published to YouTube
  • Include an AI-generated transcript highlighting issues, friction points, and player confusion

Private Paid Playtests

Need deeper, confidential feedback from someone who genuinely loves your genre?

  • Starting at $15 per playtest — 30 min to 3 hours, singleplayer or multiplayer
  • Matched with genre-specific gamers
  • Completely private and confidential
  • Include a summarized transcript with key findings

Playtester Validation

Quality matters. Every new playtester goes through a validation process:

  1. Complete one public playtest as a trial
  2. An admin reviews the submission for quality
  3. Once validated, the playtester gains access to private paid playtests
