For Game Owners

As a game owner, We Playtest Games gives you affordable, structured playtesting from real gamers who match your game’s genre.

  1. Register at app.weplaytestgames.com/register/company and verify your email

  2. Add your game — provide the name, description, build URL (Steam, itch.io, or a direct download link), and select genre tags so we can match you with the right playtesters

  3. Order a playtest — choose public (free, 30 min, posted to YouTube) or private ($20, 1 hour, confidential)

  4. Wait for a playtester to claim the slot and submit their video recording

  5. Review the submission — watch the video, read the AI-generated transcript, then accept or reject

When you create a playtest request, you specify a quantity — the number of playtest slots to open. Each slot is claimed independently by a different playtester, so you get diverse perspectives on the same build.

When a playtester submits their video:

  • You receive a notification and an email
  • You have 7 days to review — after that, the submission is auto-accepted
  • Accept: the playtester earns $10 and receives a positive rating
  • Reject: provide a reason. The playtester can dispute if they believe the rejection is unfair

When ordering a playtest, you can include a description telling the playtester what to focus on. For example:

  • “Please test the tutorial and first boss fight”
  • “Try to break the crafting system”
  • “Focus on the multiplayer lobby experience”

You can also provide a custom build URL that gives playtesters access to specific sections of your game.

You can pre-purchase account credit to streamline ordering:

  • Add credit via Stripe (card) or cryptocurrency
  • Credit is automatically deducted when ordering playtests
  • View your balance and transaction history on the Billing page
